Traditional health research is often extractive,taking data away from underserved communities without giving them control over the findings. The Health Equity Intelligence Network (HEIN®) is QALYCOM Health CIC’s proprietary, legally registered framework built to disrupt this model.

HEIN® is an independent, community-led data engine that protects Community Data Sovereignty. We empower Global Majority and racially minoritised communities to own, govern, and utilize their own health and wellness insights to challenge structural inequalities and shape local support from the bottom up.

Through peer-led feedback loops, residents actively identify the real, non-clinical barriers affecting their lives such as language exclusion, digital barriers, and cost-of-living hardships and use that collective intelligence to advocate for localized, trusted community resources.

How HEIN® Operates
1. Trusted Grassroots Capture
We deploy our specialized wellness and social-inclusion workshops directly inside trusted neighborhood spaces, community centers, and faith venues. Using culturally tailored, multi-lingual engagement tools, we gather raw qualitative insights regarding daily lifestyle routines, resource accessibility, and digital exclusion.
 
2. Independent Advisory Governance
All data flowing through the HEIN® infrastructure is strictly governed by our independent Community Health Advisory Group. Composed of local residents and volunteers with first-hand lived experience of health inequities, this steering board ensures complete data privacy, absolute anonymity, and strict alignment with community interests.
 
3. Inside-Out Structural Advocacy
Instead of locking reports away in institutional archives, we compile aggregated, anonymous intelligence to empower communities. This data is used to map local assets, adapt peer-support networks in real time, and provide system partners with clear evidence to redirect preventative, non-clinical resources to the areas of greatest need.
